FARMING
In Harmony with Nature
For many years, we have farmed organically, respecting the natural cycles and working in harmony with the land. This dedication extends beyond our crops – we actively nurture biodiversity by planting fields of wildflowers, maintaining thriving beehives, and cultivating our land in the most ecological and balanced way possible. The generosity of nature in this region is unparalleled, and we strive to honor and preserve it in everything we do. Beyond our vineyards, olive groves and fruit-trees, nature itself provides its own bounty. The forests surrounding Dionora are rich with wild mushrooms, aromatic herbs, and vibrant saffron flowers, all of which bring unique flavors and fragrances into our kitchen. This balance between cultivated and wild agriculture embodies the true Tuscan way of life – using what the land so generously offers, always with respect and appreciation.

OUR EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVEOIL
Craftsmanship and Tradition
– A Perfect Harmony
Dionora’s Single-Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil is crafted with passion and tradition on the sun-drenched hills of Montepulciano. A true reflection of the region’s unique climate and agricultural heritage, this oil embodies a harmonious symphony of flavors, from the deep roots of ancient olive trees to the sun-ripened fruit. Handpicked with care and cold-pressed within 24 hours, it remains unfiltered, pure, and intensely aromatic, preserving every nuance of its bold and authentic character. Produced from 3,500 organically grown olive trees, primarily of the Frantoio, Leccino, and Moraiolo varieties, Dionora Grand Cru offers a delicate balance of fresh green notes. Expect vibrant hints of freshly cut grass, green apple, almond, and artichoke, rounded off with a subtle peppery finish. With a low acidity of just 0.22%, it exemplifies the pinnacle of quality within cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil.
Our Ambition
The basis of our agriculture philosophy is to create a closed farm production cycle and foster biodiversity.

Beehives and honey
A Sweet Contribution to Natur
At Dionora, we take pride in our small-scale honey production, not only for its delicate, golden sweetness but also for its role in supporting biodiversity. Our beehives are a vital part of our organic ecosystem, supporting the natural balance of the land to be preserved. Bees are far more than honey producers – they are nature’s most important pollinators, essential to the health of both cultivated crops and wild flora. As part of our dedication to organic and regenerative farming, we embrace the natural cycle of agriculture, allowing our bees to pollinate the surrounding olive groves, vineyards, and fruit trees, ensuring healthier harvests and a thriving environment. Our pure, artisanal honey captures the flavors of the Tuscan countryside, infused with the nectar of wild herbs, blossoms, and fruit trees that grow naturally on the estate. It is a true reflection of our philosophy: working in harmony with the land, respecting its rhythms, and celebrating its generosity. At Dionora, every drop of honey tells a story of nature, and the timeless beauty of organic farming.
FORREST
A living, breathing part of Tuscany
At Dionora, agriculture extends beyond vineyards and olive groves – the vast forest surrounding the estate is an integral part of our land. These woodlands, dominated by centuries-old protected oak trees, support a rich biodiversity and play a vital role in the local ecosystem. The forest is home to wild boar, deer, and countless smaller species, contributing to the balance of nature. It also provides seasonal harvests: in spring, wild saffron flowers bloom, while autumn brings mushrooms
and, if fortunate, truffles—prized ingredients in Tuscan cuisine.
The undergrowth is rich in wild herbs, enhancing both local flavors and medicinal traditions. Beyond its natural beauty, the forest also upholds centuries-old agricultural traditions, including wild boar hunting, which has been practiced for generations. As part of Dionora’s agricultural heritage, the forest is not just land – it is a living, breathing part of Tuscany’s natural and cultural landscape.
